I have returned to Alice’s Wonderland many times since first reading Lewis Carrol’s stories when I was a child. For me, Alice’s curiosity and innocence embody childhood. Her journey and the characters she met might have seemed strange to me at first but I see them now as no crazier or outlandish (and probably less so) than our world today. In fact, I take some comfort from the familiar chaos of Alice’s world.

These “Alice” drawings and paintings are an ongoing renewed immersion into Wonderland. I invite you to travel with me as I interpret Alice’s world and I hope you take some enjoyment and comfort from these pieces.
